What's in the CSV
One row per transaction, with these columns: Date, Description, Amount, Debit, Credit, Balance, Reference. Dates are written as YYYY-MM-DD. Money out is negative in Amount and shown as a positive number under Debit; money in is positive in Amount and under Credit. UTF-8, comma-separated, with a header row, so it opens in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers or any tool that reads CSV.
Checked before you download
Every conversion is checked: the opening balance plus all transactions must equal the closing balance, and every running balance printed on the statement is checked row by row. Rows that don't reconcile are highlighted, so you know a CSV is complete before you import it.
Other formats
The same conversion also downloads as Excel (.xlsx, with a balance-check sheet), CSV, QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) and Xero bank statement CSV, all included. See the guides for Excel, QuickBooks and Xero, and pricing.
Questions
Is it free to try?
Yes. You get 1 free statement a day, up to 5 pages. No signup needed to try. Longer statements, more statements the same day, batch uploads and the multi-month check use credits.
What does one credit cover?
One statement of up to 10 pages, with every download format included. Longer statements use 1 credit per started 10 pages (1–10 pages: 1 credit, 11–20 pages: 2 credits … 91–100 pages: 10 credits); 100 pages is the maximum, and you confirm the credits before a statement of more than one credit is converted. Per credit that is €0.65 to €1.20, depending on the pack.
What happens if the balance doesn't match?
Every result is checked: the opening balance plus all transactions must equal the closing balance, and every running balance printed on the statement is checked row by row. If a complete statement doesn't add up, we misread something: the result is marked Failed, the rows that don't reconcile are highlighted, and it's free (up to 5 times in 30 days, then it uses credits). If pages are missing or the statement prints no balances, the result is marked Not verified so you know to review it.
Which formats can I export?
Excel (.xlsx, with a balance-check sheet), CSV, QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) and Xero bank statement CSV. Every format of a converted statement is included in its credit. IIF files aren't supported.
Do you store my statements?
No. Statements are processed in memory, never written to disk or to a database, and deleted 5 minutes after your first download (15 minutes if you don't download; 30 minutes for a result converted without logging in, so you can log in and download it). We keep only metadata such as the page count, the bank name and whether it balanced. Statements from banks in our template library (Bank of Cyprus, Eurobank, Revolut, Wise and monobank) are read by our own parser, with no AI service involved; other statements are read by our AI provider, Anthropic, which deletes them within 30 days (see the privacy policy).
Can I convert scanned statements or photos?
Yes. Scanned PDFs and photos (JPG, PNG, HEIC) work; several photos become the pages of one statement. Up to 100 pages and 50 MB per statement. Flat, well-lit pages read best; if a digit is misread, the balance check flags the row.
