Statements from most banks can be converted: any statement that lists transactions with an opening and closing balance or a running balance works, and every result is checked against those balances.

Other banks
Statements from banks not in the list, and scanned or photographed statements from any bank, are read by our AI provider, Anthropic, and checked against the statement's balances in the same way. When a digital PDF from a new bank is read this way and its balances reconcile, we learn its layout automatically, so the next statement from that bank is read by our own parser.
